Fuzzy Green Cladiella Finger Leather

Cladiella Finger Leather Coral is a hardy soft coral with thick, branching “finger” growth and a naturally fuzzy texture when its polyps are extended. Its flexible branches add height, movement, and a soft natural look to reef aquariums without the aggressive sweeper tentacles found on many LPS corals. Green and lime varieties can be especially attractive under reef lighting, creating a bright, textured colony that works well in soft coral, mixed reef, and beginner-friendly aquariums.

Cladiella Finger Leather Corals are generally easy to care for and do best with moderate lighting and moderate, indirect water flow. Provide enough flow to keep the coral gently moving and to help it shed its natural waxy film, which leather corals may periodically produce as part of normal cleaning and growth. Place the coral on stable rockwork with room to expand, and avoid strong direct flow that can keep the polyps retracted. Maintain stable reef parameters, avoid sudden changes in lighting or water quality, and allow space from neighboring corals as the colony grows.
