Danso End-Blown Korean Flute
Danso End-Blown Korean Flute
The danso is a traditional Korean end-blown flute with a clear, focused tone and a playing style similar to other vertical folk flutes like shakuhachis, but with its own elegant voice and centuries of musical heritage. This plastic danso by Hanullim brings that tradition into a durable, low-maintenance instrument perfect for beginners, classrooms, and regular practice.
Unlike bamboo, the molded plastic body is highly resistant to humidity and temperature changes, offering stable tuning and added resilience for travel or outdoor use. Smooth to hold and easy to clean, it provides a dependable introduction to authentic Korean wind technique without the fragility of natural materials.
Great for: Students exploring Korean music, educators adding global instruments to their curriculum, and players seeking a distinctive folk flute for recording or fusion projects.
